I have a software RAID1 on a machine that had a BSOD. After it resynched, I noticed that there was "failed redundancy" error message. After searching around, I read that I needed to "Reactivate disks". However, I must have done this incorrectly--I reactivated  both disks in the RAID. Now, it appears that there are 4 disks in the RAID with 2 disk missing, and it still says "Failed Redundancy".

What do I need to do to fix this issue?

I removed the missing and foreign disks, and this is where I'm at now:

They now appear as separate logical volumes with two different drive letters instead of a single RAID1. When I right-click on the individual volumes, the options for "add mirror" and "reactivate volume" are grayed out. When I right-click on the disk, the option to "Convert to basic disk" is grayed out.

As you can see, Windows isn't really treating them as completely independent disks as the state of the disks/volumes are different depending on whether both start from online or both start from offline.
